Fished Friday 25th Jan 6am to 12pm. Drifted the reefs in 65m off Port Stephens.

Did some beach worming and whiting fishing around the xmas new year. Check the length of that worm!

Had a great time on a family campervan holiday around the south island of NZ.  Soft plastics were deadly on the trout, 1/16 jig head, 3inch Berkley Grubs on 6lb fluro proved to be the most consistent fish taker – here a few pics.

Trag Trail out in Issue 5 of Fishing Like the Pros.

Had a throw after work looking for a couple of tailor for the smoker.  Conditions looked really good with a high tide around 5pm, and the swell had bumped up with plenty of white water.   No choppers, but of course there are still plenty of fishcakes around…..
